My passion for photography began as a child when I discovered my mom’s Kodak Disc Camera (yes, that really was a thing!). As an introvert, I always felt more at ease behind the camera than in the spotlight. Over the years, I honed my skills — first as the photographer for my high school newspaper (still using my mom’s little Kodak, since the school didn’t have its own camera) — and later by sharing my work with friends, family, and a few wedding clients who trusted me to capture their joy. Along the way, I also found a special love for pet photography.

Life has taken me in many directions, with ups and downs along the way, but one thing has never changed: my belief in the beauty of the world around us and the traditions of love, laughter, life, and family.

I am still that introvert who treasures her small circle of people — but I’ve also grown and evolved. I served in the U.S. Navy during 9/11, became a mother to a daughter with disabilities, and learned the importance of patience, flexibility, and kindness. These experiences have shaped how I see the world and how I approach photography, with both sensitivity to environments and gratitude.

I am deeply thankful to my fiancé, daughter, and our family for their constant encouragement and support.
